Small Business Saturday Saw Record Levels

Reports show more people are shopping small. Small Business Saturday saw record levels of support from people all over the country. An estimated 112-million people shopped small, an increase of 13-percent from last year. Small businesses are usually run by friends, family and neighbors. Consumers came together to show their love for small business. Among those who shopped, 81-percent encouraged family and friends to shop or dine at small, independently-owned shops and restaurants. The money spent at those stores goes right back into your community.
