After months of practice and 14 weeks of games, the high school football season has reached its final destination. Seven champions will be crowned over the next three days at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.
The Piedmont Bulldogs are one of the 14 teams taking aim at a title. On Wednesday morning, the players and coaches loaded up the buses to head down for the Plains. The trip to the Super 7 is nothing new to Piedmont. They captured the 3A title last season in Tuscaloosa with a win over Bayside Academy. On Thursday morning, they’ll suit up against Mobile Christian looking to back it back to back crowns and the 3rd championship in program history.
