Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit puts four more people behind bars on drug charges. Agents served a search warrant at a home on Gregory Court in Gadsden. Corion Moore and Khadijah Byers were arrested after several drugs were recovered; including, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, cocaine and three stolen handguns. Deputy Commander Phil Sims says that the guns were found to have been stolen from Alabama and Georgia. Moore and Byers are charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Moore is also charged with distribution of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. Agents also served a search warrant at a home on Pulltight Road in Gadsden. That's where they arrested Michael McKinney and Carrie Drake. During the search, agents recovered about six ounces of methamphetamine, along with more than two-thousand dollars and a handgun. This investigation is still ongoing and more charges are expected to come later.
