Etowah quarterback Daulton Hyatt spent just one season in Attalla, but it was certainly a meaningful season. The 6'4" signal caller, who transferred from Arab, is now heading off to SEC country. On Wednesday, Hyatt stuck to his commitment and signed with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
As a senior, Hyatt completed 65% of his passes for 2,207 yards and 25 touchdowns. He added 410 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. Hyatt is ranked one of the top 20 pro-style quarterbacks in the country and he says he’s excited to get to Fayetteville.

Hyatt will graduate from Etowah this month and enroll at Arkansas in January. The move gives him a big head start over the other freshmen coming in this summer. He joins a long list of collegiate athletes to play at Etowah HS including Carnell Williams and Patrick Nix.
