Salvation Army Distributing Toys

Friday, December 16, 2016

An organization is handing out gifts for Christmas morning. Anniston’s Salvation Army has collected hundreds of toys for less fortunate children. The Angel Tree program allows people pick the name of a child and buy that child toys and clothes. Corps Officer Eric Roberts says this community has gone above and beyond this Christmas. Roberts also says a number of volunteers showed up to help distribute the toys. The Salvation Army has been collecting donations to help families in need since 1888 and is still going strong today.
