Jacksonville is getting ready to open a new facility to serve people who live and work in the area. Today, the city held its first municipal court hearings in the new Public Safety Complex. The facility has new furnishings and telephones, and radios are now being installed. This project has been years in the making and Jacksonville Mayor Johnny Smith says it’s the perfect location. The complex will have its official ribbon cutting ceremony on January 18th at 1:30. The public is welcome to tour the building and see all the exciting new equipment.
