The Weaver City Council took a few minutes to honor two men who went above and beyond for their community. Taylor Ford and Kerry Hurst were awarded the Weaver Citizenship Award. Ford made sure the Buckhorn Market was open for people who were in need of groceries during the dangerous winter weather that hit this past weekend. Ford also donated turkeys to Hurst, who cooked free Christmas dinner at Zoe’s Restaurant for those who would have otherwise spent it alone. The men were congratulated for their dedication and selflessness to the citizens of Weaver.
