Low income homeowners in one area of Calhoun County could be selected for a program to help make some much-needed home repairs. The City of Weaver is partnering with World Changers to offer $10,000 to help low income families with home projects. Weaver Mayor Wayne Willis says it’s a great help for the community. The money can be used to build handicap ramps, repair roofs, paint, yard work or anything needed. The only requirements are the person must own the home and be a low income household. Applications can be picked up at the Weaver City Hall.
