The Anniston school board is considering a new use for an old school property. During a recent work session, the school board discussed the possibility of leasing Constantine Elementary School property to TCR Child Care Corporation. The school closed last year as part of a money saving consolidation plan. TCR is a non-profit which oversees early education programs. The school board is expected to consider the one-dollar per year lease agreement at its next meeting on February 16th. The Board is also considering a request to lease space on the former Norwood Elementary School property to the Boys & Girls Club and a possible lease agreement for space on the high school campus to an Anniston surgeon.
