A local library is making some loving cards for those who might be in need of a little extra care. The Anniston public library is hosting its fourth annual Have a Heart Program. Kids of all ages can come in and make a Valentine’s card for someone in a nursing home. Head of youth services Alaina Browning says it’s an event that everyone enjoys. The program will last through February 13th. Then Girl Scout, Boy Scout and 4H Groups will deliver the cards to retirement homes and nursing facilities. All the products used in the project were donated by CARES.
