GSCC Receives Tuition Grant

A foundation is awarding one community college a grant to cover a student’s tuition. Gadsden State Community College is honored to receive a $15,000 grant from The Gene Haas Foundation for a student pursuing credentials in the Precision Machining Program. The Gene Haas Foundation is named for the founder of Haas Automation, the largest machine tool builder in the western world. The foundation offers scholarships to high schools, community colleges and special educational programs that help build skills within the machining industry.
