New State Attorney General Announced

A longtime District Attorney in north Alabama will serve as Alabama’s new Attorney General. Governor Robert Bentley today announced the appointment of Steven Marshall to the office. Marshall will fill the vacancy left when Bentley appointed Luther Strange to the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the new U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Marshall has served as the District Attorney of Marshall County since 2001.
