A wall that honors the men and women who fought for our nation is on its way to north east Alabama. It has been a long and difficult road, but the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall will make a stop in Etowah County. The wall stretches across 250 feet, and proudly displays more than 58-thousand names of the men and women who gave their lives for their country. Rick Vaughan says it is an honor to have the wall come to the area. The wall will be displayed beside Convention Hall May 11th through the 15th. It will be available to the public 24 hours a day. Paper and chalk will be provided for those who wish to trace over the names of loved ones.
