Tuesday, February 14, 2017

A new Alabama Attorney General is now in position. Governor Robert Bentley appointed Steve Marshall as the new Attorney General. Marshall took the oath of office alongside his wife earlier today. The slot opened after Governor Bentley appointed sitting Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange to the U.S. Senate. That’s the position vacated by Jeff Sessions following his confirmation as U.S. Attorney General. Marshall has served as the District Attorney of Marshall County since 2001.
