A community college is offering adults the chance to finish high school. Gadsden State Community College is providing adults 18 and older who did not finish high school the opportunity to take free GED classes. The classes are designed to improve reading, writing and math skills. Students can take as many classes as they need to pass the GED test. Director of Adult Education Services and Associate Dean Instructional Services Doctor Karen Blythe Smith says they also give students the opportunity to build their skills for the work force. Classes are offered morning, afternoon and nightly. Gadsden State also offers English as a second language for those who wish to improve that skill. They are accepting new students every week. These classes are provided at 45 different locations. For more information on how to apply you can visit their website.
