Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon


A local high school is showing appreciation for the hard work law enforcement officers puts forth every day. Pleasant Valley High School held a special luncheon and assembly today to recognize the men and women involved in a recent manhunt in the Pleasant Valley area. Law enforcement officers enjoyed a meal prepared by the home economics department. Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade says officers don’t do it for the money. Sheriff Wade also says that his deputies are encouraged to do good even when no one is looking. During the assembly officers were presented appreciation awards for their service to the community.
