Convicted Felon Caught Fishing on Private Pond

A convicted felon faces multiple charges after he was caught fishing in a private pond. Alabama Department of Conservation Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies received reports of  Willie Davis trespassing on a private pond near I-20 and Highway 431 in southern Calhoun County. When authorities encountered Davis they found he was in possession of two pistols, Xanax, digital scales, four EBT cards in other people’s names and more than $6,000 in cash. Davis was arrested and is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a pistol. Davis’ bond is set at $31,000 and he's set to appear in court on April 10.
