Jacksonville Superintendent Cleared of Criminal Intent

Jacksonville police have cleared the city’s school superintendent of criminal intent in connection with a pornographic image found on his Twitter account. Some Jacksonville parents raised the issue of the photo at a school board meeting last month, and Superintendent Mark Peterson said his Twitter account had been hacked. The board asked the police to investigate the incident to see if any crime had been committed. School board President Stephen Smith says police found that Peterson and the school staff acted appropriately in this case.
