The Dekalb County K-9 unit leads police to drugs at Collinsville High School. Thanks for joining us I’m Carl Brady. After a teacher smelled a strong odor coming from two Collinsville students, the students were approached by an Assistant Principal and the school SRO. The student who had driven to school declined a vehicle search, so K-9 Marianna was brought in to conduct an open air search, and she confirmed there was something in the vehicle. A search then revealed an unsmoked marijuana cigarette, a partially smoked marijuana cigarette, an empty bottle of Scotch whisky, rolling papers, lose marijuana and an unloaded BB pistol. The students were released to their parents pending a hearing with the Juvenile Probation Office.
