A local man earns the title of Alabama Small Business Person of the Year. Thanks for joining us I’m Carl Brady. Jodie Stanfield, the owner of Local Joe’s Trading Post and Resturant in Rainbow City and  Alexandria was recently notified that he was chosen as 2017 Alabama Small Business Person of the Year. Small Business Adminstration Administrator Linda McMahon says that Stanfield earned the award due to his hard work, innovative ideas and dedication to his employees. Stanfield says it is all about the community. Standfield was nominated by the Jacksonville State Small Business Development Center, and Standfield will represent the state of Alabama at the end of April when he travels to Washington D.C. to accept his award. Standfield says one of the most unique parts of his restaurants is that they change their menu for each season, guaranteeing the freshest ingredients.
