Local High Schools Sets Up Prom Promise Program

Prom season is in full swing. One local high school is showing students the dangers of having too much fun. Lincoln High School set up the Prom Promise Program to show students what could happen after a night at prom. Students got to see EMS personnel, Police and Firefighters all work to try and save the people involved in an accident. FFA Advisor and Agriculture Science teacher Amy Stephens says this is something the students won’t forget. Senior McKena Fox says she hopes her fellow students remember this and stay safe. Students watched and some participated by dressing in formal wear, and fake blood to show injuries. Other students say this is an impactful way to stay safe.
