Friday, April 7, 2017

Gadsden City football fans got to meet their new head coach on Thursday. Bart Sessions was approved by the school’s board earlier this week and Thursday night he was formally introduced to the community in a meet and greet session. He comes to the Titan program after a year at Tuscaloosa County and three outstanding seasons at McGill-Toolen. Under Sessions the Yellow Jackets went 34-5 from 2011 - 2013.  He spoke with TV24 Sports about joining the Gadsden City family.

Last season the Titans started 1-5 but finished strong by winning six in a row before eventually falling to eventual state champion Hoover in the quarterfinals. Sessions believes the team has great momentum and they can immediately build on last season’s success. TV24 Sports will catch up with Sessions and the team in just a few weeks when spring training gets underway.
