The Donoho School’s Fine Arts Collaborative will present the Disney musical “Aladdin Junior” this weekend at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. Ashely Burrage, head of the school’s fine arts department and director of the play, says this production is a major undertaking that involves many of the students at the school. Burrage says this production is a shortened form of the musical, and should run about an hour and 15 minutes. The performance is also special because it marks the beginning of a new scholarship program for students interested in attending the Donoho School. Aladdin Junior will be presented on Friday night and Saturday night at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. Show time is 7pm for both nights. Tickets are $12 each. More than 50 Donoho students are involved in the production.
