Burglary and Theft Charges for Gadsden Man
A Gadsden man faces several felony burglary charges. Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says Joshua McClary broke into a building on Robert Road and stole two window air conditioning units. The next day he damaged a drink machine and broke into a parked vehicle at the Exxon on Duck Spring Road. Investigators say McClary admitted to selling the window units to a scrap yard and says he was looking for a purse in the vehicle. McClary is charged with theft of property, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and possession of burglary tools. He is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $9,000 bond.
