The weather is perfect to get out and do a little fishing- and that's exactly what dozens of children did today. Students and volunteers from across Cleburne and Calhoun Counties visited Oxford Lake to participate in the annual Kids Fishing Classic. Besides casting and reeling- it was a beautiful day just to soak up the sun and get some fresh air. "Kids Fishing Classic" Committee Chairman Jennifer Yates says it’s a day to have fun. Yates also said there were smiles all around. The day consisted of fishing and competition. The school that caught the most fish was presented with an award.
