Repairs May Be on the Way for Local City

Some much needed construction and repairs could be in the near future for one local city and an old school. Over the next few weeks Hobson City could see some renovations to an old building. During Monday night's council meeting, Hobson City mayor Alberta McCrory expressed her concern for the conditions of the old C.E. Hanna School building. Last July, a colony of bats were discovered inside the facility. McCrory wants to give the building new life and a new purpose. McCrory also tells us that she plans to use the building for the town’s Parks and Recreation Department. They are getting estimates on the different aspects of the building that need work. The city received a grant to help pay for some interior cleanup.
