Two Burglary Suspects Caught Red Handed

The Calhoun County sheriff's office says people in rural Calhoun County can rest easier with two burglary suspects behind bars. Recent break-ins and attempted break-ins were reported in Piedmont and Ohatchee. The Piedmont home owner says the burglars took more than two-thousand dollars worth of household items, including a refrigerator and home theater system. One of the Ohatchee home owners reported more than one-thousand dollars worth of items stolen. Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade says how they caught the two suspects. Sheriff Wade says Amy Vance and Benjamin Howell were arrested and are charged with Burglary. Howell is also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Vance is being held on a $10,000 bond and Howell on a $15,000 bond.
