Dozens of Arrests During Warrant Round-Up

Etowah County Law Enforcement Officials arrest dozens of men and women during a warrant round-up. The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Drug Enforcement Unit, FBI, ATF and US Marshals Service along with 12 law enforcement agencies split up into six teams early this morning to serve more than 250 warrants. The majority of warrants served were for felony narcotic crimes, however, several were issued for distribution and trafficking of narcotics including methamphetamine, synthetics, heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Agents seized numerous narcotics and arrested at least 58 people.
