Skinner Motor Sports Driver Cruz Skinner is the current spokesperson for Alabama's Click it or Ticket safety campaign. The 15-year-old from Oxford is an race car driver who was involved in a serious wreck three years ago. He and another driver were turning a corner when Skinner’s race car flipped multiple times. Skinner says wearing his seatbelt saved his life. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says automobile crashes are the leading cause of death for people ages 4 to 11. In 2014, seat belts saved nearly 13,000 lives. So, before you hit the road for your vacation, make sure you and your loved ones buckle up for safety.
