Three Arrested After Month Long Investigation


A four month long investigation ends with three people from Boaz facing charges for trafficking meth. Etowah County Deputy Commander Phil Sims says Etowah and Marshall County drug agents and Boaz Police executed a drug search warrant at the home of Denise Johnson, George Hoff and Tammy Williams on Pleasant Hill Cutoff Road. During the search agents and K-9 Jax found a black bag in the master bedroom with approximately 31 grams of methamphetamine, more than a thousand dollars in cash, syringes, glass pipes, and digital scales. The three are being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond each.
