Calhoun County Commissioner Completes Program

A Calhoun County Commissioner is among an elite group to complete a prestigious leadership program. District one Commissioner Fred Wilson has met all the requirements to graduate from the Alabama Local Government Training Institute. Wilson joins a group of 94 current county commissioners from across the state with this distinction. Wilson says he takes the training courses to better himself and his county. Wilson will receive his County Commissioner Graduate Award at the 2017 Annual Convention of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama in August. Wilson completed a minimum of 120 hours of detailed practical and applied course work involving all aspects of county leadership and administration.
