Students Speak Out at City Council Meeting

Students who attend Gadsden City High School want school leaders to remember them when making changes to the school system. Many students, teachers and other city schools employees attended today’s Gadsden City Council meeting. During the meeting Gadsden City High School Student Government President Mae Stacey spoke to the council about the issues involving her school. After the meeting Stacey, along with two of her classmates explained why they think their involvement is necessary. Stacey and her classmates also brought up several positive programs Gadsden City Schools have and stressed that they hope those programs will remain in place.
