Tyson Foods Test New Harvest Techniques

Tyson Foods is installing video cameras in key areas of its chicken operations and will test new ways to harvest birds. The Arkansas-based meat producer last month hired its first chief sustainability officer and announced a series of animal well-being initiatives. Tyson poultry farmer Stacy Barton says they are making sure the birds are being handled properly and treated with respect and care in every step of the process. Tyson has 33 poultry processing plants across the US.
