People from as far away as Indiana travel to Piedmont to take a chance at their share of the million dollar prize pool at Bingo USA. This Saturday, around 4,000 bingo players will fill this usually empty building. For each person that plays, two dollars go to the City of Piedmont, and two dollars go to Piedmont Athletic Booster Club. Booster Club Member Shane Kirk says that the money from bingo is a big help. Bingo not only helps the athletic programs, but also the city of Piedmont as whole. The cost to play starts at one hundred and nine dollars, plus the four dollars for the city and athletic boosters. The games start at ten a.m. this Saturday.
