Etowah County's Chief Administrative Officer is resigning. According to County Commission President Tim Choate, Sherrie Kelley submitted her letter of resignation on Tuesday. The county commission will form a replacement committee during its next meeting in July. If a replacement is not found before Kelley leaves, Choate says they are prepared to put another employee in the position on a temporary basis. Kelley was hired as the C-A-O in July of 2015.
