K-9 and Officer Put Two People Away in Connection to Drugs

A local K-9 and officer help put two people behind bars in connection to drugs. Cedar Bluff Police say K-9 Officer Chris Vaughn and K-9 Unit Jagger stopped Cynthia Rendon and Cortez Holloway at the Country Store in Cedar Bluff. K-9 Jagger hit on the vehicle and a search turned up a small amount of Methamphetamine and a pipe along with prescription pills. The two are charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription pills. Both are being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center without bond.
