The Gadsden Public Library hits the road to bring the library to the people. The Book Bike is filled with books that are given away for free. The bike is an effort by the library to bring books to people who may have limited access to the library. Library Director Amanda Jackson says people are drawn in by the big, green tricycle. The Book Bike can be found peddling books through downtown Gadsden from ten in the morning until noon. Jackson says the book bike is a great way to get books to kids stuck at home during the summer.
