All this week in Heflin, young girls have learned about making decisions, staying healthy, and having fun. Cleburne County 4-H has brought back the "Be Extreme Inside and Out program." The program teaches girls from 12 to 15 years old how to maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others. Guest Presenter and English teacher Tiffany Fuller participated in the first "Be Extreme" program as a student, and now returns to help teach decision making. The program lasted all week, and included a day where the students shopped at Dillard’s with a 100 dollar budget. Program coordinator Debby Mathews says the program had more than 30 presenters with an important lesson for the girls. With the exception of last year, Be Extreme has been held annually since 2004.
