Thursday, July 20, 2017

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with local pharmacies to get unneeded prescription drugs off the streets. The Sheriff’s Office is providing drug take-back receptacles. People can bring their unwanted or expired prescription medicines to the Sheriff’s Office from eight to four, Monday through Friday. Local pharmacies encourage everyone to clean out their medicine cabinet, and take the unneeded medication to the Sheriff’s Office for destruction in order to prevent the drugs falling into the wrong hands.
