Honda Recalling 1.2 Million Accords

Friday, July 21, 2017

Honda is recalling more than a million cars for potential engine troubles. The Japanese car manufacturing company is recalling 1.2 million Accords made between 2013 and 2016. Honda has received four complaints about the 12-volt battery sensors causing some engines to catch fire. The company has also received nearly four-thousand warranty claims relating to the faulty sensor. Honda says the sensors may not be sufficiently sealed against moisture. There have been no injuries reported and Accord owners will be notified before the end of the month.
