Jacksonville Approves Contract with Coca-Cola

Wednesday, July 26, 2017

The Jacksonville City Council has voted unanimously to approve a contract with Coca-Cola. In their meeting Monday, the council agreed to move forward with the contract. It would provide four new scoreboards for the Jacksonville Parks and Recreation Department. Two of the scoreboards are for softball fields, and two are for baseball fields. No money is exchanged in the contract. Instead, the Parks and Recreation concession stands will serve Coca-Cola products. Coca-Cola has previously provided the parks’ current scoreboards.
