DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says he is not seeking a fourth term. Harris has worked with the Sheriff’s office for nearly 30 years, and he will end his career in January, 2019. As sheriff, Harris introduced multiple programs, including the R U OK program that automatically checks in on seniors and people with disabilities that live alone, and many others.
