Voters across the state prepare to cast their vote for the next senator for Alabama.The primary elections for the senate race are tomorrow. The election will decide which Republican will face which Democrat in the general election on December 12th. The election is for the senate seat that Jeff Sessions vacated in order to serve as the Attorney General under President Trump. On the Republican side, the three front runners are Luther Strange, who was appointed to the seat by Governor Bentley, Roy Moore, a former member of the Alabama Supreme Court, and Mo Brooks, a congressman representing Alabama’s fifth district. For the Democrats, the two front runners are Doug Jones, a former US attorney, and Robert Kennedy Junior, a former naval officer. Polls are open from seven AM, until seven PM.
