The son of an Alabama daycare worker charged in a child's death causes an altercation in court today. It's not clear why 24-year-old Demarcus Lymon became so upset. Officers arrested Lymon after removing him from court. It happened during a bond hearing for his mother, Valerie Patterson. She stands charged in the death of five-year-old Kamden Johnson. A group of high school students found Johnson's body Monday. According to police, preliminary autopsy reports show no signs that he suffered physical trauma. Johnson attended the daycare center where Patterson worked. It was run by a church, and according to Alabama law, did not need to be licensed or regulated. That status allows a daycare to avoid background checks for workers and facility inspections.
