City of Gadsden Receives Grant from Alabama Power

Alabama Power gives more than $12,000 to the City of Gadsden in order to extend hiking trails at Noccalula Falls Park. Area Manager for the power company’s Eastern Division, Steve Hildebrant presented the grant at the City Council’s meeting today. The $12,500

 

grant will fund the extension of the Black Creek hiking trails. Hildebrant says that investing in the City is just good business. Noccalula Falls Park is owned and operated by the city. Hildebrant says the grant will allow the city to expand the hiking trails to ten miles in length.
