Drought Loan Application Deadline Approaching

The loan application deadline for small businesses affected by the drought earlier this year is quickly approaching. The US Small Business Administration is reminding all small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, and most private, nonprofit organizations that October 23 is the deadline for federal economic injury disaster loans. SBA Field Operations Center Director Frank Skaggs says the SBA recognizes that disasters do not usually stop at county or state lines and that the loan program is available to all eligible entities that suffered financial loss. To get disaster loan information, or an application, you can call the Small Business Administration or download the form from their website.
