Trio Arrested for Separate Cases of Burglary and Theft

Two separate cases of burglary and theft have three Attalla people behind bars. Investigators say Jeffrey Jacobs stole a handgun from a vehicle outside a home on Jacobs Lane. Jacobs is charged with one count of second degree theft and one count of unlawfully breaking and entering a vehicle. He is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond. In a separate case Joshua Davis and Amanda Sears allegedly broke into a home on Mountain View Drive in Attalla, on two separate occasions. The duo is accused of stealing a variety of items including a pellet rifle, a mini motorcycle, a bass guitar and amplifier, collectible coins and more. Davis and Sears are charged with burglary and theft of property. They are each being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
