Flags Lowered After Las Vegas Shooting

A fatal shooting in Las Vegas leaves dozens dead and hundreds injured. American flags throughout the country have been lowered today to honor the victims in the mass shooting in Las Vegas. As of the latest reports,  there are 59 confirmed deaths and more than 500 injuries reported after a shooter opened fire on a crowd of more than 20,000 country music fans during a Jason Aldean concert at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Police have identified the shooter as Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada. Paddock fired on the crowd from his 32nd floor hotel room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. The shooter had stockpiled more than 30 weapons and had more than a dozen stashed in his hotel room overlooking the music festival. Police say that Paddock killed himself as an assault team stormed his hotel room.
