Cleanup continues today across Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana from the mess left behind by Hurricane Nate. This is a look at some of the debris the storm left behind in Weaver. Across east Alabama, there were numerous reports of downed trees, blocked roads, and damaged buildings. Alabama Power says over the weekend Calhoun County and Etowah County reported more than 3,000 homes without power. Statewide, there were about 56,000 people without power after the storm. Nate made landfall twice Saturday as a Category One hurricane, first in Louisiana, and then near Biloxi, Mississippi before weakening and moving north across Alabama. No major structural damage, deaths or injuries were reported.
