Cherokee County Woman Denied Probation in 15 Year Sentence

A repeat felony offender will serve the remainder of her sentence. Cherokee County District Attorney Mike O’Dell says his office has successfully concluded the prosecution of drug trafficker and habitual felon Candala Adams.

Circuit Judge Randall Cole revoked Adams’s probation in a drug trafficking case from 2012. Adams was arrested on March 30th of that year. She was found to have a large amount of oxycodone. Deputy District Attorney Scott Lloyd prosecuted the revocation proceeding.

Judge Cole found that the evidence in that hearing proved that Adams had committed the offenses. She was charged with Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Adams will be required to serve the remainder of her 15 year sentence behind bars.
